Welcome to Khadijah Muhammad Islamic Academy (KMIA) Website. Alhamdulillah, through Allah’s mercy, our institution continues to grow and serve the Bangsamoro community despite the many challenges we have faced over the years.

We honor the legacy of our late co-founder, Binladen sa Ranao, Datu Agakhan M. Sharief, whose kindness, humility, and dedication to helping others continue to inspire KMIA’s mission. May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen.

At KMIA, we believe that every step in the pursuit of knowledge brings opportunity, growth, and a deeper connection to Islamic values. We are committed to guiding students to become academically capable, morally upright, and responsible Muslims who contribute positively to society.

The Khadijah Mohammad Islamic Academy, Incorporated (KMIA) was established for the aims of bringing quality education integrated with Islamic values that anchors to the needs of the Bangsamoro communities. KMIA do its best to shape the students’ holistic being based on the characteristics of Prophet Muhammad (S. A.W.) and his wife the noble woman Khadijah (R.A.) as the central core of the teachings of this institution. KMIA was basically conceptualized to help the less fortunate people in the community by supporting them through scholarships and special discounts to avail by the orphans and needy. The system of this institution was operated in a form of charity due to its profits precede to a charitable project organized by the school for the benefit of its constituents like free madrasah education, supports learners in other madrasah, free qur’an learning center and supports ustadz or arabic teachers.

KMIA has widen its services for the humanity by creating a KMIA-CARE program for the response to any calamities by providing basic aids like food, clothing and financial support to the victims in any parts of the BARMM region. This program also supports the widows in the communities by giving them basic support through financial allowance, clothing and emotional support by reaching them out. KMIA supports its own product by giving them instant opportunities after graduation through employment and giving them another training opportunities as they prepare to embark their new journey in outside campus. It also gives opportunities to the graduates from reputable institutions by giving them experiences and while they wait for permanent work in government. All of these services were given for the sake of ALLAH (swt). The school operates solely as private sector without support from any agencies or organizations. This institution greatly emphasized the advantage of quality over quantity when it comes to education and experiences.

As the school president, I am doing my best to deliver the mission and vision of this institution. I am ensuring everyone in this institution prioritized the “student-centered and outcome-based rule” for the faculty force and administrative staffs. I am grateful that despite of the challenges, KMIA have maintained the high percentage of passing rate among all the private higher education institutions in Marawi City and Lanao del Sur and that all graduates of our institution are employable in different sectors and agencies. This signifies that all KMIAns are well-equipped and ready to serve the community with faith and good moral values based on the KMIA principles by shaping and educating the students with

knowledge, service and Integrity.
